Pretty Spaces

I had to post this picture of Kelly's living room from The Glamourai. I adore all the neutral colours... brass,black and white. The majority of the stuff in this space is vintage, which I just love! If you've never heard of this blog, head over and have a look, it's all eye candy!!

Adornments

I added a much needed chocolate brown ribbon to the lamp shade in the living room, I love how this small project changes the look of the lamp. It looks dramatic and sophisticated all in one and it really pops against the neutral drapes.

Anyone ever added trim, ribbon, paint or rearrange things or furniture to make them look brand new and current?

Living Room

Many of my friends know that I am a huge decorating enthusiast aka an HGTV junkie...no really I surf the DECOR PAD site at work all the time ( some of you may even recognize my posts, alias cupcakes, and I seem to have HOME DECOR on the brain! My co-workers have officially begun to taunt me about it...they whisper "Home furnishings" and I can't help but turn around. I am currently seeking therapy, and not the apartment kind ;) (devout bloggers will know what I meant by that) but really I thought since I'm on the road to redemption it couldn't hurt to post some pics of my living room in progress!
